Year 11 spent last Saturday in school all day working on their GCSE Science Controlled Assessment. They all worked extremely hard, but then it was time for fun! They had requested a team building afternoon/evening with a sleep over in the school.
Games began around 4pm and they were kept busy with a whole range of challenges until late into the evening. After some hot chocolate around the campfire, roasting marshmallows and some lovely conversation, they all settled down to sleep in the school.
Activity Leader, Ruth Harris said "This is such a great year group and I was delighted that they wanted to have an evening of team building activities. They work so well together and all the years of taking part in these type of events have really improved their ability to problem solve, communicate, involve everyone and just be able to relax and have some good old fashioned fun!"
