Following the new Friday cookery classes at Outdoor School, Bella in year 7 and her friend decided to cook lunch last Sunday for the family with one of the recipes they learnt. It’s great to see the life skills being taught being used outside of school and a fantastic way to bring everyone together, preparing food and sharing a lovely meal. Earlier this week, Puffins went on their own bear hunt! They went through the long wavy grass, the deep cold river (and it was cold!), the thick oozy mud (which felt lovely between their toes!), the big dark forest and the swirling whirling snowstorm (yes, we had snow!).
